Kart Transponder Servicing & Testing is carried out by a professionally qualified Electronic Engineer with over 20 years experience in Electronics.
The transponders will operate for at least 4 days on a single charge after being serviced.
We reapir the new and old syle 160 & 260 AMB MyLaps Transponders.
If your transponder is not repairable we refund your money.

| We offer two options; |
£39.95 - service your transponder - normal turn around is 16 days.

£49.95 - Exchange your transponder for a serviced one - normal turn around is 3 days.

We carry out a seven stage service and testing process on all AMB TranX 160 Kart transponders.
The process is; |
Stage 1. Replace the battery(s) if necessary.
This means the 160 kart transponder will operate for longer, normally at least 5 days on a single charge. |

Stage 2. We replace the resin that holds the battery secure and keeps the transponder weather proof.
Stage 3. We fully charge the battery. |
We test the AMB 160 transponders is fully weather proof.
Stage 4. First we submerge the transponder in water for 1 hour |

Stage 5. We then place the transponder in the oven at 35 deg. C for 1 hour.
Stage 6. For the last part of weather testing the AMB TranX 160 is left to freeze at -5 deg. C for 1 hour.
This ensures the transponder is fully working and will withstand all the weather a UK kart season will throw at it!
Stage 7. Once the transponder has passed ALL these tests it is cleaned, labeled and ready to be supplied to a customer. |
